Underwriters Laboratories Inc, (UL) is an independent organization that tests and certifies products for design safety. UL certifies, validates, tests, inspects, audits and advises the customers who use their mark in manufacturing. There are nearly 1,000 standards for safety, including UL 817: Cord Sets and Power Supply Cords. Stay Online maintains 3 UL files at our North Carolina Manufacturing location and is subject to unannounced quarterly inspections of its wiring assemblies, harness components, cord set and attachment plug. Products that are UL Listed have passed stringent tests for electrical safety.

The equivalent of UL in the Canadian Market is cUL and a majority Stay Online UL products are also cUL.
